Armas legendarias
Five posts present weapons, and leave the questions open. There are the sword and the shield of the greatest gladiator of Epherium, and the crimson sword that defeated him. Pantheon's Punishment, the weapon of the inquisitors of Pantheon. The club of Gatekeeper Harrod. And the axe The Root-Severing Blade, a betting name in Seaglass Harbor.
The gladiator of Epherium
There was in Epherium a gladiator who always longed for a true rival. The point of his sword was charged with the passion and the determination of many years. His name has long been forgotten, but his roar, which the post calls awe-inspiring, can still be heard from the shield he left behind.
“Is there no one capable of defeating me?”, according to @ArcheAgeChron. The post asks who was able to wield this sword and whether the story of that forgotten warrior can be discovered. It says that the legend goes on according to whoever takes it up. It does not continue it.
Another post speaks of the crimson sword. It carries a title: the one who was never recognized as the strongest, not even after defeating the strongest warrior of Epherium. In the first person, someone says that, if their end leaves that boy any meaning, they have nothing left to regret; that an honorable death would be a luxury for a life like theirs; that in that duel any other motive is an excuse; and that the blow of the crimson sword that pierced their neck was magnificent.
It is the sword that defeated the greatest gladiator. A fight that would be remembered for thousands of years ended in a vile way. The sword carries fame and infamy. The post asks what story would be engraved on it and does not answer. It does not say who is speaking, nor who that boy is, nor in what way the fight was vile.
GAP: the gladiator's name is forgotten, according to the post, and the name of the one who defeated him does not appear; the questions remain open.
Pantheon's Punishment
Pantheon's Punishment is, in the post's words, a sacred weapon that shines only in the hands of those who represent the gods. The inquisitors of Pantheon used it to punish those who pass themselves off as the gods and commit blasphemy. The post says that it also appeared in ArcheAge and that in ArcheAge Chronicles it is reborn with a more astonishing look. It adds that other much-loved weapons of ArcheAge will keep arriving in another form, and it does not say which.
GAP: prior lore would be needed; the post says the weapon already appeared in ArcheAge and speaks of the inquisitors of Pantheon, and that story is not in these texts.
Gatekeeper Harrod
In the Singing Land of ArcheAge, the post says, a stone statue called Gatekeeper Harrod sleeps. Some will remember the giant club it carried. That weapon, the post goes on, already belongs to whoever is reading in ArcheAge Chronicles, and with it no one will be able to stand in the way.
GAP: prior lore about Gatekeeper Harrod and the Singing Land of ArcheAge would be needed; the post names them and does not tell that story.
The Root-Severing Blade
The Root-Severing Blade is a betting name that captivated the bettors of Seaglass Harbor. One day a mysterious figure appeared, and it is said that the money wagered on that name grew a hundredfold, and even a thousandfold. The post adds that the name holds secrets that go far beyond the game.
It leaves these questions open: who the owner of this deadly axe is, who truly holds the power behind the name, what is at stake, and what the cost will be. It does not answer them.
GAP: the index places the post between the weapons and Seaglass Harbor; here it stays with the weapons, and the text does not say whether the axe belongs to the story of the port.
The available image is development art, with an interface. The head of an axe is visible: a broad, worn blade, and a piece of metal with a cross motif. The post calls the weapon a deadly axe and does not describe this piece.
