The Antiquary Society gathers, in these two posts, scholars and merchants. They unearth the past in order to give shape to the future: they want to rediscover the lost treasures of Auroria and rebuild the Delphinad Library. The second speaks of the ruins, of the ancient texts, and of a pioneer's clothing.

The Antiquary Society

The post calls it a singular mix. Scholars and merchants work together. The aim it states goes no further: to rediscover the lost treasures of Auroria and to rebuild the Delphinad Library, which it calls legendary. There is no list of names, no seat, and no inventory of those treasures.

The banner hangs from a golden stand, against a dark background. The cloth is brown, with an embroidered arch. At the center there is a sun medallion, and another on each side: silver on the left, gold on the right. Beneath, it reads Antiquary Society.

GAP: prior lore about Delphinad would be needed; the post does not explain what the Delphinad Library is or what was lost with it.

Relics, ruins, and garments

In Auroria, the other post says, many relics remain undiscovered, and many ancient texts. There are people determined to find them before anyone else. In the fierce competition for the forgotten ruins, those people are always one step ahead. Even now, it adds, they are somewhere looking for the next clue. It does not say who they are, what the ruins are called, or what the clue is.

“If you wish to rediscover the memories of the continent together, seek the pioneer who wears these garments,” according to @ArcheAgeChron. The post does not say where that pioneer is, nor what that pioneer is called.

The images show the clothing, not a name. In the portrait, a light-haired man wears a dark hood, a brown tunic, and a gold chain with two ornaments in the shape of a head. In the other shot, the outfit is seen from the front and from the back, without a face: a long cloak, light sleeves, a belt, and hose.

GAP: the post does not name the ruins, or the relics, or the ancient text, and it leaves unsaid where to look for the pioneer.

Between the two texts, the Antiquary Society is a search: the past of Auroria, a library still to be rebuilt, and a pioneer recognized only by the clothing.
