Dark Blades

The Dark Blades were deserters. The post now places them at the head of the shadows of Auroria: they plunder, they forge lethal alliances, and they gather the underworld of the continent under a single banner, which it calls ruthless. A second post pauses on the combat uniform and leaves the unit and the rank open.

From deserters to a single banner

“Once, deserters,” according to @ArcheAgeChron. The post continues from there: now they command in the shadows, they plunder, they seal lethal alliances, and they gather the underworld of Auroria under a single banner. The image is that banner: a sword from which hangs a dark, torn cloth, with a red sign, on a red background, and the name Dark Blades beneath.

GAP: the post does not say whom the Dark Blades deserted, nor when, nor what banner they left behind.

The combat uniform

There is a combat uniform that not just anyone may wear. The post says that it is not only clothing: it is the mark of their internal order and a weighty symbol. Permission is reserved for whoever is capable of commanding an entire unit.

The question is left hanging. The post asks which unit those uniformed warriors belong to and what ranks they hold. It does not answer.

The image that shows the garment is a capture from the editor, with the interface in view. A full figure is visible: a dark cloak, a breastplate, a sash, fur pauldrons, and boots. The post does not assign that view to a unit or to a rank.
