Shadowhawk Syndicate

The Shadowhawk Syndicate stands, across two posts, as a mysterious organization. It leads exploration, hunting, and trade in Auroria. The second ties it to a name that came out of the alleys of Delphinad: whoever swears loyalty and brotherhood receives a favor in return. The motives are named and are not told.

Exploration, hunting, and trade

The post calls it mysterious. It credits it with a very close-knit brotherhood and with hidden motives. It is influential and, at the same time, enigmatic. It does not say what it explores, what it hunts, or what it trades in, nor who is in command.

The banner is a dark cloth, torn along the bottom, hung from a timber. The motif is the head of a bird of prey inside a circle of thorns: in silver on the left and in gold on the right. Beneath, it reads Shadowhawk Syndicate.

The name of Delphinad and loyalty

The development and conquest of Auroria, the post says, are tangled with powerful interests. Sometimes power is the only way to make things move forward. The Shadowhawk Syndicate inherits the name of a legendary group from the alleys of Delphinad, and the text points to it as the company where that logic of power fits best.

“Swear loyalty and brotherhood, and the Syndicate will return the favor,” according to @ArcheAgeChron. It does not say what the favor consists of, nor what is demanded besides the oath, nor what the group from the alleys was called.

GAP: prior lore about Delphinad would be needed; the post does not explain what legendary group walked those alleys or what remains of it, beyond the inherited name.

The image in the post shows a garment on an empty stand. There is a hood with pale fur, two dark rings in that fur, a leather bodice, a long beige cloth skirt, and loose bracers, separate from the body. The text does not say that it is a uniform, nor which rank it corresponds to, nor who wears it.
