ArcheAge Chronicles producer letter: “Pioneering a New Era”
On July 31, 2025, executive producer Ham Yongjin posted the ArcheAge Chronicles producer letter on Steam. He sets out why ArcheAge Chronicles is not ArcheAge 2 and not a traditional MMORPG: an online action RPG in Auroria, 50 years after the original game, with tighter combat and a shared world that is not built for massive zergs.
The letter also covers lifeskills, housing and crafting, and the first small focus groups, run on early builds that were still under NDA.
The full letter is available at the original source.
